Returns for online purchases are for online store credit or exchange only. Orders are eligible for return if they are received by ella + scott within 30 days of the purchase date (date is located on your packaged invoice copy). Merchandise must be returned in original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with original tags attached and the completed return form or return will not be accepted. Shoes must be returned with their original shoebox. Please package them inside another box to ensure there is no damage to the original shoebox.

Please note: No cash, credit or debit card refunds will be issued, unless there is a mistake on our behalf, online credit or exchange only.


Our inventory is limited to ensure our shopaholics have a variety of styles to choose from. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the item you want to exchange will still be available when we receive your return. If we no longer have a size or item you need, a store credit will automatically be issued.

Damaged/Incorrect Items

If an item is damaged or incorrect, it must be reported within 10 days of the purchase date. Please email us immediately at, Attn: Website Orders and include full name, order number and a photo of the damaged/defective item. Please do not return damaged merchandise without contacting the store first.


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Shipping on Returns/Exchanges: Original shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
